The Navigators:
The Navigators is an international ministry with nearly 4,000 staff in over100 countries of 62 nationalities.
They began in the 1930s with a man named Dawson Troman, whose passion was to invest his life in the spiritual growth of others. This came to be known as “generational ministry.”
There are Navigator ministries in many US communities, inner-cities, the military, churches and on the college campus.
Our international vision is:
To advance the gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
The Navigators at KU:
There are around 200-300 students involved with the KU Navigators on a yearly basis through Bible studies, weekly meetings, conferences, retreats and investigative Bible discussions.
Our campus vision is:
Filling the nations with generations of life-long laborers and lovers of Jesus, as we strive together for the faith of the gospel at The University of Kansas
Our hope and prayer is that God is being glorified among us as we help students toward spiritual maturity and as we give them a vision for their lives; the vision of being used by God to advance His kingdom. Our hope and prayer is that God is being glorified among us as we share the message of His Son Jesus with this campus.
